Confession

We understand biblical counseling at Zwischenzeit in a similar way to Coram Deo and subscribe to the Seven Confessions of Coram Deo.  Zwischenzeit serves as a support for the pastoral care ministry of churches and pastors.

1. We confess that true biblical counseling is pastoral.

2. We RECOGNIZE that true biblical pastoral care ministers with the Scriptures.

3. We RECOGNIZE that true biblical pastoral care requires continuous, careful exegetical work.

4 . We RECOGNIZE that true biblical counseling pays most attention to the source of the greatest problems - the heart.

5 . We RECOGNIZE that true biblical pastoral care happens in the church to one another and is not reserved for professionals.
